While we carefully guide each family through our adoption process to ensure the best possible match, we understand that unexpected situations can sometimes arise. This policy outlines our approach to exchanges and returns in a way that protects our puppies while remaining fair and supportive to the families who adopt from WePoodle.
Our Commitment to Quality and Care
Every puppy at WePoodle is raised in our home with exceptional care, early socialization, and proper veterinary attention. Poodles are intelligent, affectionate, and highly trainable companions that thrive in loving family environments.
Our policies reflect our commitment to responsible breeding, ethical placement, and long term support for both our puppies and their new families. We take pride in raising well adjusted puppies that are prepared for a smooth transition into their new homes.
72 Hour Exchange Option
If within 72 hours of receiving your puppy you determine that the puppy may not be the right fit for your home or lifestyle, WePoodle may offer a one time exchange at our discretion for another available puppy of equal or lesser value.
Conditions for an exchange include:
• The puppy must be in excellent health with no signs of neglect, illness, or injury, confirmed by a licensed veterinarian
• All original paperwork must be returned including health records and vaccination documentation
• The buyer is responsible for all transportation costs related to returning the puppy and receiving the replacement puppy
• Exchanges are subject to availability and final approval to ensure the best outcome for the puppy
This exchange option allows us to responsibly rehome the puppy if necessary while helping you find a better match for your family.
Partial Refund Consideration
In rare situations where an exchange is not possible, a partial refund may be considered on a case by case basis.
Refund considerations may depend on factors such as:
• The puppy’s age and overall health condition
• The length of time the puppy has been in the buyer’s care
• Veterinary care, vaccinations, and preparation costs already invested
• Transportation and ongoing care expenses
Due to the significant time, effort, and resources required to raise each Poodle puppy, full refunds are not offered. Any approved partial refund amount will be determined at the discretion of WePoodle after careful evaluation.
Return Requirements
If returning a puppy becomes the only available option, the following conditions must be met:
• The puppy must be returned in the same healthy condition as when delivered, with no evidence of neglect or improper care
• All documentation provided with the puppy must be returned
• The buyer is responsible for arranging safe transportation that prioritizes the puppy’s comfort and wellbeing
WePoodle reserves the right to refuse a return if these standards are not met or if the policy terms are not followed.
Ongoing Support and Guidance
Many concerns new owners experience can be resolved with proper guidance and support. Before requesting a return or exchange, we strongly encourage you to contact us. We are always happy to assist with:
• House training guidance for Poodle puppies
• Feeding schedules and nutrition recommendations
• Crate training and adjustment advice
• General care and grooming tips
